A
ceiling-recessed motorized screen and independently motorized masking
system provides dual format projection—all in a ceiling-recessed Access
case. Select a projection screen in HDTV or WideScreen format up to10'
wide. A flat black mask on a second motor-in-roller converts the screen
to NTSC video format by masking the right and left sides of the
viewing surface. The height of the viewing surface remains constant. The
screen surface consists of a reflective vinyl with no textile backing, and
is tab-tensioned for improved image clarity. The surface is
stretched flat, resulting in better picture quality. Motor-in-roller
is mounted on special vibration insulators so operating noise is
dramatically reduced.
Three
surfaces from which to choose:
M1300—
Extremely broad light dispersion and spectral
uniformity. Panoramic viewing angle and true color rendition. Recommended
for use with any
type of projector in rooms where the light level can be reasonably
controlled. Gain 1.0
HiDef
Grey—A
grey front projection surface that provides greater contrast and black
reproduction than standard
surfaces, with a lower gain to handle today’s super-bright projectors.
The grey allows for more ambient light in the audience area than
traditional surfaces. Gain .9
M2500—A
high-contrast front viewing surface, with excellent resolution and high
gain. For
data-graphics projectors producing up to 1000 ANSI lumens. Tolerates a
higher ambient light level than most other front projection screen
surfaces. Gain 2.1
